Didcot Antenatal and Baby Groups

Didcot Baby Monday is a community-led charity running groups for expectant and new parents.

We hope that you can come along to meet other local parents, share experiences, make new friends, and find the supportive "village" that will help you to thrive in early parenthood.

As well as being welcoming and inclusive social groups, we provide evidence-based information and support to help you navigate life with your new baby. Our trained Infant Feeding & Sleep Counsellor and Peer-Supporters are always ready to lend a non-judgemental and empathetic ear to anything on your mind. From getting started with breastfeeding to stopping when the time is right for you and any little bumps along the way, as well as using infant formula and bottles, introducing solid food, infant sleep, adjusting to motherhood, returning to work, and choosing/using slings & baby carriers.

We have a comprehensive library of carefully chosen books available to borrow, and can signpost to all sorts of reliable, non-commercial online resources. Take a look at our handy Padlet for links to recommended websites, articles, videos, podcasts, apps and more.

We also hold regular additional workshops and paediatric first aid courses, which can be booked via Eventbrite, as well as fun activity sessions, such as baby hand & foot print card making.

We look forward to welcoming you and your little one to the group!

We also work closely with local charity Oxfordshire Breastfeeding Support, who run a clinic session in Didcot on Friday mornings, 10-12 upstairs in Didcot Library (there is a lift).

Booking is recommended and spaces can be booked here.

OBS also offer weekly in-person sessions in Kidlington and Oxford, 1:1 video calls for those who cannot get to a session, a monthly antenatal Zoom workshop, and a moderated closed Facebook group.
